Chapter 7 was discharged 6/15. Discover was included for almost 10K. Today I happened to receive a pre-qualified mailer. According to Experian my FICO is 667 with somewhat high utilization at about 34%. I have 9 inquiries. I figured I'd just take the chance. I filled out the app online using my pre-qualified number. After I submitted, a screen came up asking me to upload proof of address (which I thought was super strange since... a. I've never been asked that before and b. I've lived at the same address for 15 years). Once I uploaded proof (my license) another screen came up asking me to call for my decision. I called and was told everything checked out and I was approved for $1600. A somewhat low limit compared to my Cap One QS card ($10,000), but I'm back in with Discover after only 2 years and burning them for quite a bit. Very happy!!
