My BK was filed June 02 2006 and has been reported properly on all the credit Reporting Companies since that time. Yesterday I decided to check my score, since I was able to get all my cards I use for business travel paid to zero before their cycle (which is not always easy with expense reports). On this report check yesterday I see that Experian has dropped my BK early!! I have read in the past that some people experiance a "drop" in their score after the BK has been dropped. I am happy to say my score when up!
Experian = 781
TransUnion = 727
Equifax = 719
All three have always been within 10 points of each other through out my checking. I hope I get a 50~60 point bump on the other two
Congratulations!
.
Only 5 more years for me. Well actually, 4 years and 9 months, but who's counting?
Congrats! A good feeling indeed!
I'm waiting for mine 8 years and 11 months (maybe 8 years and 5 months if they do EE) but like Dave said, who's counting
Grats OP... it's a good feeling.
My 13 fell off early last month... a month early of my April 1st, 2016 7 year date.
I saw 40-50 pts across the board...
Awesome news for you! Quite the increase as well Congrats!!!
All reports now have my BK from June 2nd 2006 dropped!
Equifax = 773 (+54)
Transunion = 780 (+52)
Experian = 784

A tad late, but CONGRATS!!
Awesome! Experian dropped my 2 negative accounts about 60 days earlier than the other two.
I can't wait!!!! My Chapter 13 should be off this December.
