I filed bankruptcy pro se on 4/4/17 and I had my meeting of the creditors today. It went very well. I didn't have any assets so it was a simple case. I recommend purchasing the Nolo how to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy book to help you fillout the forms if you decide to file on your own. It has a step by step guilde on how to fill out the forms correctly. Also make sure you pay attention to your deadlines.
