Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

You could risk trying Discover IT or More.  Barclay is the only Prime Bank that I know of for BK'ers before 5-7 years.  Well them and Discover, which is hit or miss - some get it and some do not.  Otherwise, Credit Union's should be quite friendly at this point.  You should be able to get any CU card you want at this point.

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

That or go for another Barclay Card, but wait until April when the Reward MC is 1 year old.  They do allow more than one card after about a year.

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

So I was kinda bummed about the limit so I sent them a secure message confessing my love for NFCU and how thankful I am to have them, dropped a hint how I was wanting $1,000 limit and got this response this morning;

Thank you for your message. Upon further review, we have reconsidered your request. We have increased your credit limit to $1,000. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery of your new card(s). We ask that you please do not reply to this message as this is for checking the status of a submitted application. If you have further inquiries, you may send an online message using your Navy Federal Online Account Access service. On the Other Services tab, click on E-Message to Navy Federal under the Contact Us option.

Woo!!! Thanks everyone

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

I swear, this is the best bank on the planet. I'm eventually going to move my entire banking to them. BOA (my other bank) can kick rocks!

Have to agree with you. In July 2012 when I filed BK I opened accounts with them and moved all my banking from Chase to NFCU so I could have a relationship with them through my rebuilding process.
