Looked forward to this day for 10 years... score skyrockets from 739 to 740!?!
What gives?? Just one lousy point! Very disappointed. 100% pay on time, 5% credit used, everything that I've seen points to at least a decent rise of 15+ points at least...

Would you like to share more on your reports? Honestly, 739 seems low for 9 years post discharge. Sounds like something else is holding your score down. Where are you getting the score from?
Its because over time, BKs count less and less towards holding down your score. At this point the old BK was only holding you back 1point. It not being on there though, is going to matter way more than any score bump. Banks/Lenders see BK no matter the score, and get scared. So be happy its gone. This is normal though, and most see the same results. Sorry, but thats life...lol
Where you getting these scores from? CK? Need to pull your real FICO scores once you know its gone from all 3.
Sorry it's taken awhile for me to get back.. and I did a little more research. It seems that late payments on a vehicle from 5 years ago when I was married and my ex was handling the bills, is probably the cause of it not being a better score. I guess I've got a few more years till that drops completely off. Frustrating!
Thanks for your reply!
Not I don't use credit karma. All my info and scores I get from myFico
