Were you able to obtain a Barclay CC right after being discharged from BK? If not, how long before approved? Which card from Barclay? Thanks for the info.

Yes, discharged in September applied for Barclay November 2014.

We filed November 2014 and were approved November 2015.

I was approved six months after discharge.

I'm 7 moths discharge tried 3 times denied
I'm done with Barclays I will do the same to them once they start sending pre approve letter. Can get any better then my citi double cash .

Yeah, same here, I'm so done with Barclay's. I took your advice and applied for Cabela's visa and instant approval 6 months post BK7 . Waiting on card now. Not sure credit limit yet. This is my first unsecured Visa.

CH 13 discharged 1/12/16 and approved for Barclays reward within 2 weeks after that.

I waited until six months post BK discharge for a Ch. 7. Started with a $750 CL, then six months in got $2750, then after a year got $4,000 and then just another CLI to $7,000 this month. They are my daily driver as I like to say.

I just wanted to point out for others that 7 apps in around 4 months is considered "too many applications" for Barclay. They are known to not like new accounts, let alone 7 Glad you got the Cabella's Visa, have you tried Cap1 to get a unsecured card that isn't a store card?
