CO not updated to show IIB

I have another ?  There is a medical collection account listed on my report that says original balance $60  then it is blank on the currrent balance.  It does not say IIB as it should.  There has not been any activity w/this collection since 2004 so should I just leave it alone or should I dispute and say should report IIB?  I don't want my score to go down for new activity?

Re: CO not updated to show IIB

On any account included in bankruptcy , the date of last activity is always the bankruptcy filing date. So go ahead and dispute the account. Because the account was included in bankruptcy a new date of last activity will never happen. They have to list the date of last activity on the account when you filed the bankruptcy. As afr as the original balance of $ 60 that 's not a problem.
