Cap 1 secured

Got curious with the 1 year post C/O vs the 1 year post discharge argument. Me and wife filed 8/03/18 and included capital one with around 30k balances between the both of us. They were charged off anywhere from 2-3 years ago. Had 341 meeting 8/30/18 and lawyer said we were ok to start rebuilding. Decided to apply for the secured card. Wife was approved with a $49 deposit, I was approved with a $200 deposit. Mine being higher I assume due to I still have quite a few accounts not showing as IIB. Hope this helps others!

Re: Cap 1 secured

Yes, for around 30k give or take. Quit paying all their cards 2-3 years ago though so they all we’re charged off quite some time ago. We are not discharged yet, had 341 on August 30th.
