Re: Capital One Auto Navigator

In the approval thread I said 594 TU.

I was approved at 594 TU back in March

When I bought the car it was 604 TU.

 Interest Rate in March 19%

 Interest Rate in June 13.2%

That drop in IR allowed me to get the car I want with less money down.

CPO's are a great value when you can find what you want. If you want popular vehicles (Honda, Toyotas, etc) that people often lease then it's great.

For what I wanted, it's hard to find those cars coming off lease because the resale value of those cars hurts their value in leasing so most people just buy them instead.

Specifically finding Focus ST's and Fiesta ST's off lease are rare. Given the prices of a used non-CPO versions of those cars, buying new made sense.

Also the fact that I can refinance the new car twice before it's considered used by banks. Ulimately I'll end up with lower interest rate than with any used car.
