Capital One let me back in today...but barely.

I burned CapOne for just shy of $3k over two cards in my BK7.

It's been about a a year since my discharge and on a whim I apped them this morning and was approved for the basic Platinum card with a $500 CL.

Now, believe you me...I'm not mad.

I'm happy they even opened the door when I knocked but I've seen others on myFICO issued a starting line of $2-$3k.

I want to get rid of CreditOne before the annual fees hit but even those sharks showed me more love than CapOne.

Advice?

I am not sure when you saw others being approved for 2 to 3K after discharge, but I think Cap One has changed alot in the last 6+ months. They seem to have gotten more tighter in my opinion.
