Chapter 13 discharge but case isn't closed

I just received my discharge papers but my case isn't showing closed. The trustee has already submitted their final report too. Anyone else seen this before ? how long did it take to close ?

Thanks for your help. This is so stressful !

I don't know much about a BK13 but I do know this is a common questions asked here. I believe it just takes time to update. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will help soon!

It can take a few days.  Just give it some time and you should recieve a paper saying you are done in the mail.

Re: Chapter 13 discharge but case isn't closed

We were DC in March this year but didn't officially close until mid- July. The trustee will do a final disbursement and may have a final hearing after DC, ours was mid-may. I think someone just forgot to actually close it after that so I had to get my attorney involved in July, after which was closed w/in 24 hours. The case not being closed doesn't prevent you from re-establishing credit immediately after DC though, so no harm.
