Chapter 13 filed exactly 6 years ago!!!

Discharged 4 years ago and building good credit ever since.

Only 1 more year for it to fall off into oblivion... Smiley LOL

Does anyone have recommendations for when I should start asking for early removal and how persistent I should be with each reporting agency?

What will my scores be after Chapter 13 falls off reports?

I know everybody's file is different and so this is purely speculative but any educated opinion would be appreciative.

Here are some data points to help...

My BK13 is set to drop off as of Nov 2020 and hopefully I will get them dropped off a little sooner.

Fico8 scores as of now are EQ: 686, TU: 665 and EX: 675

AAoA 2 years 0 months (Started rebuilding right after BK13 was discharged)

AoOA Opened: 3Years 6 months / AoOA Closed: 19 Years

25 Total Accounts. 14 Opened and 11 Closed.

0 missed payments on report / 0 Collections.

Great credit mix (Mortgage, Auto, Credit Cards and Heloc)

Always under 1% of utilization.

Newest account 6 months

10 Inquiries (Most of them are from HELOC/Refinance shopping so not sure how it is counted.)

4 derogs but all are "Included in Chapter 13" comments not missed payment or collections.

Debt to Income is very low (8%)

Re: What will my scores be after Chapter 13 falls off reports?

Other than the BK, when do those derog accounts fall off? If all the other details are correct those 4 accounts seem to be weighing you down quite a bit. I would guess that you will see some sort of increase once the BK drops though.

Filed BK7: 7/2012 (start score EQ 560 / TU 529) Discharge 10/2012

Re: What will my scores be after Chapter 13 falls off reports?

The derogs are from 4 accounts that are showing up in my reports as "Included in Bankruptcy" so I would aassume they should fall off aat the same time the BK does.

Re: What will my scores be after Chapter 13 falls off reports?

I would think maybe 20-30 points?

I think your derogs are why you are not in the 700s now.

Ch 13 time starts with filing date not discharge date.

Derogs will stay as long as they normally would - I think.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $400k unsecured credit in 2021.

DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!

5% Rotating - Discover                         5%-20% - Amazon & Lowes                   3-6% Groceries - NFCU & Amex Preferred
3-5% Gas - NFCU & Ducks Unl            4% Dining & Entertain - Savor               3% Travel & Hotels - Flagship, Propel, & Uber
2% Everything - Flagship, Synchrony, Evergreen, & Venture

Re: What will my scores be after Chapter 13 falls off reports?

The reason these 4 accounts are showing up on my report asa derogs are that they state "Included in Bankruptcy" They are not in there for late/missing payments.

Shouldn't the comment about being in Bankruptcy be removed from these accounts once the BK falls off?

And the BK is set to fall off in 11 more months as it was filed a little over 6 yeaars ago.
