The average I've seen on here over the years is around 50-80 points +/- once the BK is gone. Your lates will hit 7 years at the same time around DC time as you posted. So it will be party time then.

What I posted is a take from everyone who comes on here and post what they gained after their BK fell off. Some more, some less. But as I posted. It seems it lands around what I posted most of the time. But as we say here YMMV. No one case matches another. Good luck!

I'm in a similar, but of course a different situation. My Chapter 13 is supposed to fall off in December of this year. What I've noticed with the accounts included in the completed chapter 13 bk, they continue to report to TU, EX and they change the date of 'last activity'. Most of the reporting is to TU. I've disputed this with TU, and they decline to do anything. TU even called me -stating if the creditor is reporting the information, then I need to take it up with them. I, of course, attempted to explain the law to them. They didn't care. My concern is with the updated dates of activity reported, which of course there actually hasn't been any activity. When the 7-year mark comes, I'm going to be filing disputes if this doesn't fall off. My attorney confirmed if I completed the Chapter 13 program, it only remains on my credit report for 7 years from filing. I noticed a new entry on my credit report, which shows the date chapter 13 was completed now. I wondered if they are going to try and wait 7 years from this date now. According to my attorney, he stated no. We shall see. Good luck and post your outcome.

It will fall off 7 years from the date of filing, not the date it closed.

I too have all these stupid derogatory marks like included in BK and playment plan all over my report from the Chapter13.

Even things that I didn't include in mmy filing and continued to pay for directly at full payment. Also have some "LATE" (that was NEVER late) payments for stuff that was included in BK and tried to dispute them to no avail.

After trying all the disputing and getting nowhere My laywer told me that they should all fall off when the BK does.

7 years post BK you should not have any trace whatsoever of ever having filed.

BK13 EE on TU successful 6 months out...

I called yesterday and they took the dispute over the phone.

Got an email this morning from Wallethub showing an alert that Negative Information (BK13) was removed from my report but the WalletHub VantageScore3 did not yet change. Does this score change throughout the month, only once a month or did the BK just have no affect on this score?

Also, MyFico did not yet get updated since I have not yet recieved an Alert.

VantageScore3 increased by 35 points...

I then had to have 2 accounts remove Status and remarks of IIB.

Maybe that will give me another boost??? Will update tomorrow.

I got an EE on TU now that I'm 6 months out and my Fico8 score jumped 44 points...

Can't wait until I'm 3 months out so that I can try for an EE with EX.
