I am starting the filing process and my cars worth about 800 trade in I owe 5k and im current on payments, does anyone know if they will accept a redeem for cars value or if I will have to let it go or reaffirm?

If you are correct on your assessment of $800 and owe 5 G's. Heres the keys. But. Depends on the lender. Some make you reaffirm and some just repo. Your lawyer will give you whats best for you and what the lender wants. You pay them to give you their suggestions and go from there. Good Luck!
