Credit limit increase on my $200 Discover Secured Card!!!

I opened a $200 secured discover card in june 2018. I was told that after 8 months they would review my account and i may or may not move to a unsecured credit card. my monthly statements from june until now show a balace of: 

JUNE 13 - JULY 18 $43.68

JULY 19- AUG 18 $0.00

AUG 19- SEP 18 $0.00

SEP 19- OCT 18 $197.32

OCT 19- NOV 18 $154.41

NOV 19- DEC 18 $46.89

DEC 19- JAN 18, 2019 $7.93

I woke up today 1/23 to an email from discover saying that they are mailing me my $200 deposit back and my new credit limit is $1800!! What a jump from $200. I did not think they were going to move me because of the 2 months i had very high utilization but they did! my current credit karma scores are 604 for both trans / equifax. sooooo long story short... I'm happy

Congrats OP!!! I've closed all my secured cards but this one. Hopefully I will be rewarded no later than 8 months or it will be closed too! LOL
