Difference in processes for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13

Is there any difference in the process for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13? When I went through Chapter 7, it was filing then 341 then discharge. Is it the same for Chapter 13? I know the differences between them otherwise. lol.

For Chapter 13 it is filing, then 341 meeting, then plan confirmation, then finish 3 or 5 year plan payments, then discharge. Good luck!

Above poster is correct. You just remain in your "payment plan" until your last payment, then you wait for official DC which could be 30-90 days after your last payment, and the trustee signs off for the DC.

You're on a 3-5 year payment plan.  They will kick you out if you miss a payment like they did me.   You have to ask permission to get anything on credit before getting it.   You're a slave to the Bankruptcy Court basically for those years.
