Hi all I disputed some accounts to show IIB. One was a collection that just got added during chapter 7 (big no no). The other was my credit card that has been reporting late and not IIB. My credit score was 623 then when collection was added it went down to 619 and now with disputes it shows 605.
Are these fico scores? There are a variety of reasons scores could fluctuate during disputes. I'm a bit suprised that disputing a CA could do that though. In either case, I would let the process play out if I were you. In the long game its not the score but the content of your report that matters.
I got my car loan with a 600 score exactly....it can be done. depends on other factors, loan to value ration, down payment, etc.

Disputing a collection or PR will have no impact on your score.
When disputing OC accounts, certain aspects of those accounts are removed from scoring. It can lower your score. When the dispute is resolved your score will go back pre dispute or up or down depending on the outcome of the dispute.
Hi I'm in the market for a car, been workin on my credit a lot. Now I'm at about a 605, and the car I want is about 16,500. If u don't mind me asking what was your intrest rate for the amount u were approved for and amount? Thanks
That's odd. Maybe it depends on what is being disputed. I am just starting my rebuild and dispute with all 3 agencies last month. No change to my scores during the investigation so far. Equifax just closed their investigation and my score went up 5 points.
