Early Exclusion

I am 6 months away from my Ch13 being completely off of my credit reports, and I thought I'd try to call TU since some people have had luck with getting an EE. I called and the guy told me they don't do that basically and that it's illegal? Any thoughts? And has someone done this recently with success?

Re: Early Exclusion

I've read a mixed bag of either (1) the call in a few times until they get someone like a supervisor that's willing to listen which rates a pretty low probability. (2) Folks have posted on here going about it through an online-dispute with something to the effect of too old to report or something like that.   If you do a search on here with the following "EE+TU+BK" i'm sure you'll get some of the most recent entries.

I"m still 3 - 4 months away before I can try TU EE.  Best wishes.

Re: Early Exclusion

Its 50/50. TU does drop things on their own early lately. Try again and ask for a super. Good Luck!

Re: Early Exclusion

I requested EE online with Transunion on 11/04/22 and within 30 minutes it was removed. I requested EE online with Experian on 11/05/22 and it was deleted today. My Chapter 7 BK was set to fall off February 2023.

Re: Early Exclusion

I was able to do it with Transunion. It wasn't simple as I was told no twice but it was gone as soon as I hung up the phone.

Was the BK set to fall off EX in Feb with the 3 months built in from DOFD or was that 7 years from DOFD. What was your wording with EX when you requested from EX online?

Re: Early Exclusion

February 2023 was 10 years from my February 25, 2013 filing date for the Chapter 7.

If memory serves, I selected too old to report and in the additional details/comment section I notated "This is not a dispute. I am requesting an early removal since its due to fall off shortly"
