Thanks for all the info on this board, I was able to start a "dispute" (basically begging them for early exclusion) online with TU, and within two days (a holiday weekend nonetheless), TU removed the Chapster 13 public record from the report. My TU score jumped 45 pts : )
Now I am wondering all the "adverse" IIB accounts on the TU report...do I need to disupate for early exclusion on those as well?
Or would TU be smart enough to remove those on its own?
I went back to the TU website and try to disupte the rest...but the "new investigation" tab on top is no longer there...
Anyone know if there's a limit or time frame on how often you can disupte?
Congrats on your early exclusion!!
I also did a successful EE with TU, but I did not dispute all of my IIB accounts. I was fortunate that only two were showing up "negative" but the others were shown as closed, paid on time. They were old accounts and I didn't know what affect it would have a my AAoA so I chose to leave them. And based on the fact that my score rose from 679 to 767, I don't think it mattered. That was at the beginning of January 2018. My TU score is now 777!
I can't wait until my BK falls off EQ and EX! Just a few more months!!
Quick update - since I disupted online already , I couldn't disupte again for 30 days (online). so I called...no hold time, someone picked up the phone and we went thru all the "adverse accounts", that was 2 days ago...Today they are all gone!
TU score went up another 76 pts, now i am in the low 800s!
BTW, EXP said no to EE, Equifax removed all the derog account but left the BK public record in place...EQ score also went up 44 pts...
When was it scheduled to be removed and just exactly how did you dispute it?
the bk itself was july 2018, all the IIB account ranging from 5/2018 to 8/2018.
I disupted the BK on TU's website, putting down "others" and wrote a statment begging them for early removal.
The IIB accounts I called and spoke to someone...first thanked TU for removing the BK early, then ask for early exclusion for all the accounts.
My seven-year anniversary is not until 1/2019. My discharge was 11/2017.So it looks like I need to still wait a while before I attempt, but thanks for the info.
