Equifax report sloppy

We were discharged 5 weeks ago. Equifax is reporting us as having 2 bks. I have disputed this, I don't understand why they won't remove the duplicate entry. Trans union reports it accurately. Equifax also reports a lot of bk included accounts  as late. One account reported late for 56 months straight. Any advice for getting them to report accurately?

Have you had any response to your original disputes?  If so, you should be able to submit new disputes with supporting documentation.

Were the accounts late leading up the the BK? If so, they are allowed to report late payments up until you filed your BK. We need a tad more info to help you out.

I am trying to clean up our reports, TransUnion is pretty clean, no accounts included in bk reported as late. I had a few that were late leading up to the bk, I disputed one with EQ and it was removed. My dispute with the duplicate bk entry was confirmed, and reflects that it is discharged. Of course it is, however they still report both of us as having 2 bks, with the same number, one says Dec 2010 and the other has a discharge of 2016. It was a Ch 13. When will the old acct info fall off, when the bk comes off in 2 years? Thanks.
