For those of you that wonder about a score bump post-discharge and how much it will be, here is MY experience:
Post-Filing ---> Discharge
EQ: 526 ---> 628 [+102]
Transunion: 525 ---> 608 [+34]
Experian: 552 ---> 609 [+57]
**My credit reports already showed $0 IIB before my discharge.**
**For some reason these accounts survived BK, are STILL open, but inactive:
Jared/Kays $4700
Discover $1000
Bosch $1200
** I student loans in deferrment and 2 new credit cards for rebuild.**
I hope this helps!
Sweet. You are one of the lucky ones that do get a score increase after BK. I say it a lot on here for those who want that card before DC so bad. But its best to wait like you did. Now you'll have a better chance at maybe a unsecured vs secured. Congrats and Happy Rebuild Time!
