Fighting a baddie on report, do credit issuers have to respond to disputes within 30 days?

If I fight inaccurate information directly with the credit issuer do they have to respond within 30 days as well, or is that only if we submit a dispute to the CRA? what laws apply to how to credit issuer must respond.

30 days is with disputes and the CRA. You can send letter CMRRR to creditor if you want to confirm receipt. There is no time obligation on their reply, however.
