Portfolio Recovery reporting "legally paid in full for less then the full balance". It was paid for less then what was owed. Was opened 1/1/2018, Marked Negative 3/1/2018, Balance Updated 3/27/2018. Bankruptcy filed 3/26/2018 and this item was included in the bankruptcy. This is still reporting as a collection. Should it be included in the bankruptcy due to the filing date of 3/26/2018? Portfolio is not budging and their is no attorney to consult as this bankruptcy was filed Pro Se. Thank You.

If the account was settled for less and closed "legally paid" why would you include it in your bankruptcy filing since nothing is owed? If in fact it was in a collection status and closed - which the comment states - I'm not sure it needs to be updated other than paid for less. If you are concerned with your future CRA scores, the bankruptcy filing will outweigh any "collection" status - you'll have to seriously rebuild from the bankruptcy and in doing to an old "paid for less collection" shouldn't have any effect. You might also consider hiring an attorney, filing with no experience as to the ins or out and court requirements may not be your best choice.
It's not clear to me if you settled this account or not. If you settled prior to filling, you discharged your obligation to pay them any more money at the time you settled the debt. If that's the case, it would appear their reporting is correct.
If you didn't settle with them, then I agree that it should be reported as "included in bankruptcy."
The comments are relatively meaningless considering the bankruptcy on your credit report. You may want to dispute it with the bureau, provide the bankruptcy paperwork showing they were included, and hopes that they won't respond and you'll get it off your credit report.
