I am filing bankruptcy myself and I need help!

I need clarification on an item in form 22A, question 10. Are food stamps considered other income or are they included in the Social Security Act? I included them in the other income form because it is a form of government assistance- was I correct?

No food stamps are not considered as income because they can only be exchanged for foods and therefore it is not a form of tender.

Shouldn't it at least be included as government assistance? I realize that it's not a form of tender, but it does offset my food expenses. I didn't want to just show zero for food, that wouldn't look right without listing it.
