I received a 1099-C cancellation of debt

I'm a year out from discharge.

I received two 1099-C's (Cancellation of debt)

One of them has "zero" as the amount strangely?

Both are showing Identifiable Code "A" for bankruptcy

Do I need to fill out this form with the entire amount that I got discharged?

or add up just the amounts listed on the 1099-Cs I actually received?

Because I have no idea what companies actually wrote off what amounts (I haven't received any notices from other creditors listed on my discharge) , Has anyone ever filled this out after bankruptcy Discharge?

Re: I received a 1099-C cancellation of debt

A 1099-C isn't a form that you fill out. It's a form that a creditor sends to you.

The site below has a decent explanation of the implications of receiving a 1099-C after bankruptcy.
