IIBK/ Charge-offs

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and need a little help.  I filed chapter 13 in 5/07 and it was discharged in 8/07; upon filing, my lawyer instructed me to stop making my payments.  Now on my CRs not only do I have the BK but it is listed like IIBK/charge-off or IIBK/ 30, 60, 90 days late.   My question is, shouldn't it only say IIBK?  It's like a double whammy, because I tried to apply of an auto loan and my CU denied me not because of my BK but because of the late pays prior to the BK.  Is there anything I can do about this to raise my scores?

Unfortunatley it can say both...I have a few accounts that have two remarks in the status section...u definitely want to make sure it at least says "IIB"...Also if you have late payments before you filed, they are still going to count against you. The late payments you incurred after filing will go away...
