Insurance Company has civil judgement causing DL Suspension

An accident occured couple years ago and my insurance had lapsed by less than a month.  The insurance company then sued for civil damages. Judgement was placed and Drivers License has Financial Responsibility Suspension. I have 30K in other debt.  Will BK alleviate the DL suspension? I'm in Florida.

In most states you have to pay the debt to get your license back even if you file bankruptcy, even if you wait 7 years.  Those things protect you from them going after you for garnishment, but not getting your license back.

I would contact the local DMV and ask. I think once the BK is done and the court vacates the judgment you should be able to get your license back.
