Hi I'm new to the forums but I have been reading them for about a year and I am totally addicted like a lot of the people on this post.
You guys are priceless keep up the good work I get so much information from all of you. I had to file BK in 06 along with DH because of problems with real estate. I have implemented a lot of info that I received from these post along with a lot of credit repair on my own and we have started to re-establish credit. I have 4 major cc's hooters was 1000.00 cli 400 now 1400.00 7 months later. cap 1 was 750.00 cli 1750.00 6 months later. orchard bank secured 250.00. orchard bank was 300.00 two cli's now 500.00 and one store card Target 200.00. I got the hooters and target after reading your post on bk friendly cards. My DH has ordchard and hooters. I also secured a brand new card lease with 2.9% financing through Chrysler financial this is my second car loan after bk, Chrysler paid off the first one. I got all this credit within a year. My credit scores are exp 628/equ 641/trans 651. I have perfect payment history after BK. My problem, after securing credit and pif every month, my job went through some changes and I had to find another job. That job was very stressful and I had to go on medical leave. My husband lost thousands of dollars in income due to his job and we started using cc's now we are in financial trouble and have almost maxed out our cards but nothing is late and we still pay the min at least. I have been looking for another job because my doctor suggested that I quite my job because it was affecting my health. I have been trying to find a way to pay off the credit cards without getting a loan, garage sells, ebay....etc. I know our scores would be in the 700's if our cards did not have high utilization we want to buy a house this year. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what we can do, we cannot afford to be late or miss a payment after BK. We need about 4,000.00 to pay off every thing. We could try to get a loan to pay off everything and just have one bill that would be nice, but who would give us a loan with a bk? Thanks for your input you guys are awesome.
