I have a complicated situation and need some feedback. My husband and I filed CH 13 in 2004 due to medical debt. We have approximately 14 months left in our bankruptcy. We're currently doing a lease purchase but have accepted a job out of state. Should we rent until we're discharged from BK? Will any lender consider us for a mortgage while still in BK? Our new employer has a really great deal where they pay all closing costs so we want to find out if we can even buy a house at all. Thanks!
