DogwoodLynx,
Soulmaster's guide is an excellent reference tool to use as a guide to rebuild your credit. One thing I do recommend is do some research on the lender and their guidelines before you complete an app. For example, CapitalOne may approve you right after your bankruptcy is discharged, but that card will be bucketed.
Another I would do is work on creating an emergency savings account.

Thanks for the advice. I do need to research. I kinda just assumed I would try Discover first based on what I have read here but I dont know for sure yet. I need to read that BK Friendly Card thread and take some notes.
Based on my current scores with BK listed, I may qual for something decent for rebuilds after I DC.
Here are some data points for those interested. I will fix the formatting later on desktop.

Question for the peanut gallery:
I was an authorized user on a Chase account that I was told by the account holder was closed (prior to starting BK7 process). I just noticed that it reported a balance on my credit report (which I guess means the person didnt close it). The charge was for rent on a apartment I havent lived in for a month (thats a seperate issue - jerks!). Should I dispute that charge or leave it be for now? Also should I tell my attorney?
Is this normal during BK7 process? Im assuming that once Chase gets notified theyll shut things down?
*Chase is listed on BK7 filing.
@FireMedic1 @Guyatthebeach and/ir anyone else
You can call Chase and ask to be removed. I believe they operate that way. Wont hurt your friends account.
341 meeting is next week on the 19th! I kinda can't believe it is here already.

Awesome, the process goes by pretty quickly but it can be stressful. Or in any case we put more stress on ourselves.
I've said it for yrs. Takes longer to get a Big Mac at Mickey D's drive-thru than the MOC. You'll be fine.

Agreed, Indeed.

Thanks! I'm not worried about it. I'm more stressed about my exam (for college) that I had to move because of course the MOC was scheduled at the exact time!
