How long have you had your existing Barclay card for?

18 months. Side note, is there a time length for asking for another CLI on the one I have now. Just curious. And what card would you recommend for the 2nd one.

That should be enough history for them, at worst you may have to recon. CLI request will be a HP 99% of the time and I would ask every 6-12 months.

On the 2nd card it would depend what you spend on and what rewards would benefit you. Do you want travel or cash back?

I have there rewards visa platinum already. Not sure about travel. Is the U.S. air one good, and is that going to citi? I see upromise pop up when paying my sallie Mae loans. lol

Sallie Mae is a good card! Depending on your spend the normal Sallie Mae card may be better than the Upromise mastercard though. Take a look at the rewards

Hit the luv button on my Quicksilver and got a $400 CLI $5k to $5,400 lol

Mine was always something about not spending enough.. Put like $200 through it, PIF and hit luv button haha! I guess it's better than nothing

Very true!  I ask a few times a month.  Lately its been like 1-2 a week..lol...its only a SP and the weird part is I don't even get my FICO score anymore...*even if its an old report*  LOL
