I know that in the midst of the BK process the FICO point movements are irrelevant, but it's still very interesting to me just how much swing in scores there are. At the start of the BK the bad accounts started updating and my score rose. Then my positive accounts (ie current student loans) uodated - wow that tanked my score. I know I should ignore than and wait it out, but I find it fascinating how each account change affects the scores. I am really, really looking forward to these scores moving upward!
I tell ya - the 98 point drop on TU really stung! I know the student loans will eventually return, so the scores should come back up post-discharge, but still it hurts. The only good things about keeping the student loans is that they are positive tradelines.
My score has gone up 123 points since filing. Hopefully it keeps going up
