I would wait 3-4 months and give NFCU another shot. Seeing some positive revolver history may be what you need to get approved. Good luck!

Hi all. D/C'd 12/1, actually got a cap one QS1 the day after discharge, this was followed up by a CO Spark Classic. Each card has a 1k SL. I have used both heavily and been keeping them paid down. FICO scores are all around 625-635. What card should I be looking at next? Already joined NFCU, working on putting enough in savings to open a secured card with a decent limit since I was declined for Cash Rewards last month. I'm not a very patient person but if I need to stay in the garden I will.
Redneck18,
I would wait until you have 6 months of positive credit history on both of those cards. I would then apply for a NFCU Visa.
