I just came to the realization that I have to file a Chapter 7. There's no way I'll get approved for a mortgage with such a large collection amount on my credit report. For those that have filed a Chapter 7 and purchased a house did you really have to wait two years before getting a mortgage. Are there any companies out here that'll work with you before two years?
