On the rebuilding wagon. My Bk Chap 7. was discharged back in sept. 2014. I was approved from Credit One for $300 CC. I didnt like the $75 membership fee and hearing all the reviews about them i decided to cancel the card before i even got it. I was approved from Capital One for a $500 quicksilver a week after. 20% APR. Got to start somewhere right? I got a secured loan from Golden 1 CU here in Sacramento. $500 at 4.99 APR. Not to bad. I am currently sitting at a 583 with TU. I did dispute evertthing on my TU today. I havent been able to pull my experian or equifax. I am not sure why. IDK what to expect if anything. I was reached out to from a sales rep from Lexington Law Group. I wasnt quite sure what they did. So i decided to call him later. If all my dispute efforts fail, then. ill reach out to them. In the next 6 months i want to be over 600 and secure a new car at 10% OR better. Any tips would be greatly appercieated.
Don't fall for Lexington Law. Do it yourself. It is only a matter of making sure the tradelines report correctly: IIB and zero balance and then rebuilding.
Here is a great thread to help you for rebuilding: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Bankruptcy/HOW-TO-From-BK7-discharge-to-700-in-24-months-or-less/td-...
That. ^
My tip is don't use Lexington Law. Do it yourself.
