Pacer charges!!!

I just got an email from pacer today saying i owed them a balance of $378 and im like what!!, i never saw a single documents or opened up pdf or print it, all i did was look up my case and see what was the status of it, this must be a glitch or something ?

Did you run any search for your name

Or did you enter your social ?

Searches depending on number of results are NOT capped at $3 like documents


I enter my social so I just brings up my case.
That’s like 30 cents by the time I click on history/documents


Also keep in mind it is quarterly statement.

i used to locate my case with my social and go to history and sometimes docket report, but didnt click anything inside those documents, just to see my status and what documents were filed

I woke up to a $96.00 bill. Something is very wrong.

I got the quarterly email too.  Thank goodness it was zero.

When I created my account it told me that I was going to be billed per each search I looked up and I would get a billed quarterly if my bill exceeded $25.00 and I was not allowed to search anything until I agreed to those conditions.

I got the same email today too, but since my charges were under $15, my bill was nil. Here is what is said:

Usage for this account was less than $15 for this quarterly billing cycle. In accordance with the Electronic Public Access fee schedule, the fees for this quarter have been waived

This account has a zero balance.

No payment is due at this time.

To rack-up a $378 bill, you must have been downloading and printing tons of forms???

Exactly, which i didnt, I will call tomorrow and get this solved.

Check the billing history and hit last quarter and scroll down through the search history as well.
