@moncsicsi not really. I just put $50 here and there. I have not put any more money into it in several months now. But I have read of people who only put $5-10 when they opened the account and they were still approved weeks or months later. So I dont think that the amount of money you have in the account has anything to do with the apporval.

I opened a savings account with penfed in may with 15 bucks, let it gain cobwebs and then applied for the Penfed Power Cash Rewards card in december and was instantly approved for 7500 at 17.99
