I believe anyone with $300, an ID and a pulse is pre-qualified for an Open Sky secured card. Having a pulse might even be optional. But it's not a bad way to get started if you can handle the $35 annual fee and the fact that it will never graduate to unsecured. They report to all three CRAs monthly and it's a gateway to improving your credit enough to get something else.

There are better options out there, but this one is pretty quick and easy to get started.

I have had no issues with this card and it's worked wonders for my rebuild. There is no inquiry posted with this card which is a plus. The website is a little out dated and payments take 5 business days to show up in the available credit.
