Hi folks, I am new here as of today. I just purchased the Equifax and Transunion score/report monitors.
I have a bankruptcy that was filed and discharged in Feb 2002. Since then, I have 2 collection accounts that still report with both agencies, but have been paid. I have a cap one acct received last Sep with a CL of $3000.
My ficos are Equifax 708 and Transunion 693. I took a chance and applied for Target and Macy's based on info from this forum.
I got a Target Visa for $2000 (only expected a store red card) and a Macy's card for $300.
Hope this helps someone get new unsecured accounts! Wish I could still get my Experian FICO.
