Question about Chapter 13 coming off Credit Report

7 years ago I had a Ch 13 filed in June. June of this year it's scheduled to come of my report
(supposed to be 7-years from filing it comes off)

Is there anthing I need to do come that anniversary date in June?

How soon after that date should I expect to see it OFF my report?

I am hoping once it's removed this takes my FICO scores to the next level.

Re: Question about Chapter 13 coming off Credit Report

Congrats on your 13 coming to an end. If you let it naturally fall off, usually by end of month.

You can ask for EE, or early exclusion. TU is 6 month early, EX is 3 months, EQ is 1 month. Call each and ask for supervisor. Congrats and GL2U.

Look at you!! I never knew you could ask for an EE! Getting that off early would be fantastic!

Going by what you said, TU is going to get my first call! Thank you!

Re: Question about Chapter 13 coming off Credit Report

Partial Victory! 😎

Called TU, they made mention if I wanted to dispute it, reiterated not to dispute, to do an early exclusion.
She went away for a bit, came back and said they did just that and would be sending a new credit report
to the address I provided to show the update!

Since I was feeling good, and I was soon to be within the EX 3-month window (8-days) I tried them. Went

from one agent who then said I had to speak to dispute line to which she forwarded me. That person looked
into it and said there was nothing they could do, that I had to wait until June 10th. I asked if I could speak to
a Supervisor, if it would help, she said she already did so to make something happen, but it came from him
that I had to wait until June 10th. But she did say come June 10 it would come off. Oh well.

If I had been victorious with EX, I was going to go for it with EQ but now I guess I am in waitng mode.

Still I can't thank you enough for your help! 😀😀😀

Well replying to myself to add to my story:

Tried EX again, and got the same reply. They keep insisiting they do not do early exclusions for Bankruptcy.

I am guessing they changed procedure.

Another update:

Figured I'd go for it and call Equifax, got the same reply that I got with EX, I have to wait.

Oh well - at least I am 1 for 3.

In baseball, that's .333 average, which is Hall of Fame Career :-)

At least I have something to look forward to credit wise.

**Side note: Was nice to log into Credit Sesame right after the TU Ch13 removal to see my
TU score jump 45 points!
