Reapplying with PenFed during CH 7

Hi all, I'll be 3 years into my CH 7 filing this July. A PenFed CC with a balance was part of that filing. I was told in the past by another member that I would have to repay by balance with them in order to get another CC with them.

Can anyone confirm if this is still the case? Thanks.

Yes, thats right. CU's don't mess around. You would need to pay them back all of the loss they sustained, and they may not re-issue credit again. They may tell you they will just to get their money back, (and technically they can't its against the law for them to even suggest it!!), and they could not give you a card.

I would never pay back anyone from a BK7 just to get back in with a lender for a CC.
