SSL Technique and Mortgage post BK

Hi everyone, have a question, I have read that the SSL technique would not benefit me because I have a mortgage. Is this still true if the mortgage company closed the loan on my CR? I did reaffirm, but currently the loan is listed as closed and not reporting.

Do you have any other loans reporting? Auto loan?

Hi, thanks for responding, I am actually between the 341 meeting and discharge. I have nothing reporting, I am simply getting myself ready for the rebuild of my credit. Also, I understand that once the discharge takes place the bank (mortgage company" should begin reporting again, but I do not know when that would be.

You might want to check on that. My mortgage servicer (US Bank) said they will never report my mortgage again, even after I re-affirmed. Never late, 3 years worth of pay history never to show up on my reports.

Unfortunately lots of lenders choose to do what Hoosier stated. Will come down to if you have a positive installment line reporting or not. Good luck!
