Seriously consider filing BK before year end. How will this affect my 2015 tax refund? I believe I can include it in my exemptions but wondering if it would make any difference to wait until after Jan 1 to file.
You can definitely use your exemptions to save your tax refund, thats what we did in ours. I'm not sure about timing, we filled in September and were discharged in December, so ours was close to tax time. Hopefully someone that has filed during the earlier months can give you a better answer on the timing. Good Luck!
