Venture One pre-qualified offer

Prior to filing, I was pre approved for the QS1. Right below that offer it said, "We also suggest, Venture One, Platinum, and a secured card." My charge off date for CapOne was in 2017 or 2018. I did a SP yesterday and it still shows those cards as offers. I wont do a hp until after my dc. I would like to try for the Venture One.

After my dc, if the offer is still there should I go for it?

The "we also suggest" are not pre-approvals. They will specifically state what cards you're pre-approved for

Whew..good to know. So technically only the QS1 shows as an offer.

Technically, but depending on what level qs1 you qualify for, you should also qualify for a v1.

Correct, and that may change once you have your discharge in place.  The standard advice here is to wait at least 6-weeks after your discharge to make sure all of the credit bureaus show you as being discharged before applying for any credit.

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

Try applying to (1)opensky (no hp), (2) An Academy Bank Credit Builder Secured Visa® Credit Card (https://www.academybank.com/personal/credit-cards/credit-builder ) (this specific product does not require a hp, but not sure if membership is required to apply for this credit builder card , (3) a secure loan also known as savings-secured loan (24-36 month term) from penfed or any other local credit union offer this product and (4) self secured credit card https://www.self.inc/visa-secured-credit-card (no hp). Also look into to SDFCU https://www.sdfcu.org/ (secured  card), which does not require a hard pull. There is a hard pull for joining SDFCU as a member.
