I read a bunch of threads 2-10 years old and wanted to see if USAA is more forgiving than in the past regarding BK. It seems some banks notorious for giving customers the bum's rush over BK aren't quite so strict anymore, at least since the pandemic.
I burned them for a $1600 CC in my BK, which was discharged on 4/3/23. Have been with them since i was 19 and it's probably the longest business relationship of my life (25+ years).
Due to previous reports of some losing access to services, when I knew I was going to file, I moved my auto and renters insurance elsewhere. Only left a checking account with $3 there, which is still intact. I've been able to log into the website this whole time.
I can get a CC elsewhere, but wondering if anyone who burned USAA was able to continue with other products like auto and homeowners/renters?
Welcome @Catzalcoatl
Dont look good.

Glad to hear there is some forgiveness down the road!
I burned them in bankruptcy in 2017 for $1000.
I just applied for a basic Visa card today and was denied. I haven't had any issues since my bankruptcy.
Anyone know how they are if you dind't burn them? Thought I had read in the past that they wouldn't approve with a BK on report.
I know this is a dated thread but wanted to pass on an update. This AM I received a "preselected" email from USAA. Applied and received an approval for $15k. Discharge was 5 years, 2 months ago. Did not IIB USAA.

Congrats on finding your way back in and thanks for the DPs!
