hello need an advice on canceling cap1 secured card.....
here is my situation,
BK discharged on 6/12
received cap1 secured card on 11/12(200 limit) at 0 utility
applied and aapproved for cap1 platium for 500 on 12/12 at 5% utility
applied and approve for target redacrd on 4/12
applied and approved for sony card on 4/13 at also 5% utility(they supplied me with 631 from EX
now, i would like to close the secured card at this time as i have just found out that it doent change to unsecure.
Is it too early to close at this time and possibly damage my score if any?
and Is this enough tradeline to rebuilding my credit and score?
and on 4/22/13, i just got decline for a unsecured m/c from my credit union and the loan office told me over the phone that my fico score is 653 and they pulled EX.
my usc credit union dont offer a secured card.
i subscribe to usaa monitoring thing for credit report for bot a month now and the scores r same all across the board at 638.
and finally should i get a shared secure loan and if i do, how would that help me in credit and will i take an initial hit on my score as well?
