I am just wondering if a creditor can do this. I filed on 6-6-2016 and they are just now reporting a late payment.
Thanks

Is the late before or after the file date?
Before

If you were actually late that month and it was before you filed it is reporting correctly.
I'm with Scupra,
What was late on the day you filed, is still late as it was before you filed.
If they give you late dings after filing, those can be removed fairly easy.
I just had 16 (yes sixteen) 90 day lates removed on a car i gave back on my filing date of CH13 4 1/2 years ago.
Good luck!

Do you wait until after you've been discharged to get those removed?
If it's a credit union, they are a little more lax with a good reason than others. If it's a collection agency or a larger company they generally won't change the credit reporting since they are more strict with following their reporting guidelines.
