Anyway great to meet you, glad to have you around, at least now I know who I can count on to either back me up or challenge me. You can count on it!

No offense, but according to westlaw and all the red flags on those CA cases, don't you have better appellate chances than most?
Depends I guess, never thought about it like that. I guess it would depend on the type of case. We have a very convoluded and extensive code, I would venture one of the most complex in the country, rivaled probably by New York. Not sure, hmm that's a tough one to call.

Anyone heard any new attorney jokes?
no new ones, just the good oldies. care to share?
OK Guys/Gals,
I'm the original poster and from what I've read it would seem the answer to the original question is answer "yes". My assumption would be that even when answering yes to the "have you ever" question that it's all ancient history and that it would not have much bearing on my mortgage application since it all took place over ten years ago. I could be wrong.

before the financial meltdown, I would have said yeah but given how tight they are now, it might be quite a different story. I guess you have to spin the wheel and see where it lands for your particular situation. good luck.
