AMEX BBP

Hi all,

Just a couple minutes ago applied for the AMEX BBP for 2x rewards on first $50,000 a year spend.

Spun for about 5 seconds and approved for $22,500 starting line.

I have the CHASE UNLIMITED card for 1.5x rewards with a $30,000 starting limit on 9-11-19. I am looking to go mostly to Membership Rewards and AMEX BBP is a higher earning reward card.

I also have the Marriot Bonvoy Business card for $10,000 starting limit from almost a year ago and the AMEX LOWES BUSINESS CARD with a starting limit of $15,000 from 11/19. I haven't used the Lowes card yet and just used the Marriot card to meet bonus requirements. I haven't used that card in 9 months.

My only personal card with AMEX is my BLUE CASH PREFERRED with a $24,000 limit. I will be closing that account in 2 months and opening the AMEX EVERYDAY PREFERRED card for points instead of cash back.

That's all folks!

@KELSTAR

I like my Lowes card....I'm about to request several of the $100 gas cards.  Those pts. pile up quickly, it's my main squeeze now.  Like the cb on the BBC but the gas cards are awesome!

What's the main perk of the BBP that made you decide on it? (I don't quite understand the 2x rewards, is it for gas cards or more pts towards hotel/plane, or cb stuff like that?)

Re: AMEX BBP

Make sure you transfer your limit from the account you're going to close to another account.

Amex's rules are personal to personal, personal to business, and business to business. NO business to personal.
