Hi does anyone know how amex business AU work? My wife applied for the gold card for our business and added my sister as an AU. When she received the card today she didn't notice it was my sisters card that came first and activated it using her SS# instead of my sisters. When she noticed and called amex they said it didn't matter and that both cards can be activated using her SS#. Thing is, is that they never asked for my sisters SS#. Is that correct? I thought my sister's SS# had to be on the account as well.
AMX does require the user's SS# to approve an AU card but ultimately it is the member's SS# that is responsible if negative marks arise. Also, when I activated my emplyee's' cards, I was required to provide each AU SS#.
